New update released for the game Ugly Witch

We are happy to announce that we released the latest update for Ugly Witch this Sunday. Since this is our most extensive game, changing the visuals to a unified and attractive look is more complicated than with other games. For this reason, the changes took longer than we would have liked.

The latest update not only brings a change in appearance but also a big leap in game optimization. For example, baked shadows were used to make the game run more smoothly. This goes hand in hand with the use of post-processing, which is now optimized for mobile devices thanks to the use of the Universal Rendering Pipeline for mobile phones.

Thanks to the use of baked shadows in combination with post-processing, the game looks more cohesive and is more accessible even on older devices.

In addition to optimization and a change in appearance, we have also dedicated this update to adding support for new Android devices (specifically API version 36), which unfortunately removes support for some older and less secure devices.

As with previous game updates, we have also adjusted the display settings. The display no longer turns off or dims, so unless you explicitly lock your phone, the display will remain on.

Due to the graphics adjustments, the layout of the game levels has also changed. The overview of each level has been improved and is now clearer.

The last significant change in this update is the correction of bugs that made it into production despite testing. These were bugs that affected the gaming experience.
